My friend Sabrina's birthday is coming up, and after seeing some of the toys I've made, she's put in a few requests. Specifically these from the blog Bizzy Crochet:

Bizzy Crochet is the same blog that has the awesome castle bag I've been meaning to make. But it looks like my first projects from her site will be for Pokemon dolls. I'll post pictures of them when there made. Although, Mew might not be recognizable. I"m going to add wings to him and make him out of purple and red yarn. Sabrina wants a fiend doll, not a Mew doll.

Last year for Christmas I bought my grandmother, whose been crocheting me mittens for years, some yarn and crochet books. The goal was to get her to teach me to crochet. She taught me the basic stitches, but it wasn't until I graduated that I really had time to take the craft seriously. Now, six months later, I'm hooked. The trouble is, convincing my friends and family that I don't have an "old woman hobby"!
